Skiing information during the Geilo Winter School

• Lift opening hours: 09:30 - 16:30.
• Night skiing: on Tuesday at Slaatta; on Friday at Vestlia. (Note: Ski pass with duration one day or longer is valid for night skiing.)
• Lift tickets.
  • 10% discount if done online.
  • Tip: If you buy a one day pass after 15:00 then you are able to ski from that day including any following days. (e.g. 15:00 - 16:30 on the day before you use the day pass.)
• Trail map.
• From the Bardola hotel, the closest access to the lifts is at the Slaatta Skisenter. Directions.
• Ski/snowboard equipment rentals: We recommend that you do it at Slaatta Skisenter.

  • If you are doing a multi-day rental from Slaatta, you can store your equipment overnight there instead of bringing it back to the cabins.
  • Pre-booked rentals can be picked up from 15:00 the day beforehand. (Note that Slaatta closes at 17:00.)
• We have been told that skiing back to the cabins is a possibility. However, to get from the cabins to Slaatta, one must go by foot (18 min) or drive.
• There is a free ski bus, but this only accesses the Bardola Hotel towards the beginning and end of the day. (There is a ski bus leaving Slaatta at 16:15, heading for Hotel Bardola.)
